Episode one logo Episode One: Studio Ochenta presents: Atlas Linguae

This is an Episodic show. You can listen to it in any order, but episode one is always a great place to start.

Full Episode description

This time around, Atlas Linguae isn’t just turning on the mics, but the cameras as well! That’s because for each episode of our third season, we’re going to be talking to a content creator to explore how they express and share their culture online. We’ll learn how TikTok creators such as Yemeni-American comedian Ahmed Al-kadri (@ahmedlovesbread) and Japanese-Brazilian Kenzo Mizumoto (@kenzomizumoto) find their unique sources of humor. We’ll also discover how Buzzfeed “Pero Like” alums Maya Murillo (@mayainthemoment) and Gadiel del Orbe (@gadieldelorbe) overcame obstacles to find their voices in a multicultural Latinx platform. And much more!

New episodes air every other Monday starting July 3rd wherever you get your podcasts. And you can also watch our interviews on our new YouTube channel, @ochentapodcasts.
