Maddie and Triggs are having a sleepover at Nana and Dadó’s, and they have a whole list of things they want to do. But when the electricity suddenly goes out, the group are forced to think of other ways to entertain themselves. Do they really need electricity to have fun with their family?
Molly and Suki ask Bob if they can go and visit his chickens with Mack, because Suki has been reading a book all about chickens. Bob says yes, but to be careful they don’t get out of the gate. Suki and Molly practice speaking in ‘chicken’ on the way to Bob’s. As they enter into Bob’s garden they accidentally let the chickens out. There is much comedy and running about as Mack panics, making matters worse. He has to rely on Suki’s knowledge from her chicken book to get the wandering chickens back through the gate. But one chicken is missing – Bob’s favourite Queen Lizzie. Thankfully Bob appears with the runaway chicken under his arm.
