DB 122: The Chinese Bamboo Tree Story And What It Means For Your Big Dreams!
07:45 | Episode: 122 | January 28th, 2019

One of the lessons we keep on learning from all our incredible guests — from Kobe Bryant, to General Stanley McCrystal, to Melissa Hartwig – and pretty much every guest we’ve had on the podcast — is that they all worked super hard over many, many, many years to achieve their Big Dreams.   Each person goes through a long, challenging journey and overcomes countless obstacles to turn their dreams into reality — it certainly does not magically happen overnight. Today, we are super excited because for so long we have looked for the perfect analogy — the perfect story – to powerfully demonstrate this lesson of persistent effort over a long period of time — and we finally found it!   Specifically, we came across a video of one of the world’s most dynamic speakers, Les Brown, sharing the powerful story of the Chinese Bamboo Tree. We instantly just knew that our Big Dreamers needed to hear this story. For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/122

DB 121: How Big Dreamers Are Just Like LOBSTERS!
07:25 | Episode: 121 | January 21st, 2019

In today’s episode, Eva shares a powerful life lesson taught to us by Lobsters.   Yes, LOBSTERS. You never know who is going to be your mentor on the Dream Big Podcast.  Haha. So you are probably wondering at this point — Lobsters? What in the world can Lobsters teach us about life?   Don’t worry — I would be wondering the same thing myself — but then our family came across a video of a Rabbi – Dr. Abraham Twerski — who shared such a beautiful and powerful story about Lobsters that we just had to share it with our Big Dreamers.  And of course, Eva shares how she applied the story in her own life and how all you Big Dreamers can do the same! For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/121

DB 120: I’m not nervous…. I’m EXCITED. Thank you Simon Sinek for the tip!
08:04 | Episode: 120 | January 14th, 2019

We were lucky enough to have Simon Sinek on the Dream Big Podcast in Episode 91. He was one of Eva’s favorite guests evers so definitely check out that episode if you haven’t at DreamBigPodcast.com/91.  We recently came across a video of him speaking entitled “How To Never Be Nervous Again.” That is a pretty bold promise — so of course we had to watch the video (and it is not surprise the video has gone viral with millions of views).   In this episode, Eva describes the amazing story Simon shared in the video, the powerful lesson to take from it, and how Eva applied the lesson in her own life on a recent ski trip. We are super proud of this episode because it shows how Eva is learning from mentors and implementing their advice in real-life situations.  For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/120

And later that same evening, we saw that Chris was on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon! So he started his morning talking to Eva and end with Jimmy.   Now that’s an epic day of interviews 🙂 For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/119

DB 116: The Secret Is… It All Starts With Belief!
08:03 | Episode: 116 | December 17th, 2018

One of the most remarkable stories that illustrates the power of belief is Roger Bannister’s feat of running a sub 4-minute mile.   Before May 6, 1954, no human had ever recorded a mile in under 4 minutes. Roger Bannister broke this barrier, and since that time thousands of athletes have done so. When Roger Bannister accomplished this feat — it then became possible in the minds of all other aspiring mile runners. In today’s episode, Eva shares this story that all kids (and adults) should hear — and encourages all of our Big Dreamers to understand that believing in your potential to accomplish your big dreams is the first step to making those dreams a reality.   For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/116
