Diogo wasn’t just a brilliant footballer – he was a kind, caring, and hard-working person who inspired so many with his talent and his heart.
From playing in Portugal as a young boy to becoming a star at Wolves, Liverpool, and for his country Portugal, we look back on the incredible moments he gave to football – and the love he gave to the people around him.
