Strange superpowers start emerging among a group of pre-teens from Quadropolis, and they’re going to have to figure out how to use them to save the city. It starts as a simple effort to become the sidekick of the local superhero, but these kids discover a role that goes far beyond sidekick. Emergency in Quadropolis! A helicopter has crashed into the dam, and it threatens the whole city! Graphene and Fish Out of Water team up with Mrs Work (?!?!?!), while the grounded ITGirl and Baninja team up with Butlerbot and find their own ways to help.
Graphene takes up Fish’s invite to visit Mrs. Work and discuss the super-team she is assembling. She gets a mini-lecture on the economics of superheroics, and encounters some troubling ideas about the value of a person relative to their superpower … or their bank account. Is this really the way the world works?
The Weirdos have won a mission and trapped the alleged supervillain Fish Out Of Water in a pot! But they’ve trashed the mansion of Mrs. Work in the process. Now, Graphene, Baninja, and ITGirl need to figure out what to do (and what it means about themselves) since they’ve taken a prisoner/hostage.
