This week, Queenie is invited to a friend's wedding, and seeks Donna Worry's help in deciding who to ask to be her Plus One. Somehow, she also ends up agreeing to make the wedding cake using a recipe from Chef Katie Currant. As usual, nothing quite works out as planned. Along the way, Little Dazzy Donuts reads three poems about breaking the news, being a Plus One, and having a ring on your finger.
This week, Queenie, Chicken, and Little Dazzy Donuts are camping out in the garden behind the Club. They pitch their tents, cook an unusual soup on the camp fire, and enjoy hot chocolate in their sleeping bags. Before they fall asleep, a surprise visitor pops around to say hello. Along the way, Little Dazzy Donuts reads three poems about two tents, cooking on a camp fire, and being surprised by an animal in your tent.
Join us for this bonus episode as Queenie and Chicken return from their walk with raspberries, and decide to make jam with a little help from Chef Katie Currant. Let’s hope that Queenie writes down the recipe correctly. While the jam is on the stove, Little Dazzy Donuts plays poems from England, India, South Korea, and the United States, with five poets reading their entries into the Summer competition on the topic of Home: Cesca, Naomi, Dharshwana, Sanoja, and Ananya.

It provides an opportunity for checking out the flowers, painting watercolors of the view, and enjoying a yummy picnic. Along the way, Little Dazzy Donuts reads three poems about a picnic that's stolen by animals, taking a hike, and discovering that you're lost. Hopefully, Queenie's trusty map will help them to find their car at the end of the day!
This week, Queenie and Chicken discover who is eating the hedgehog's food, and then plan a day trip. Queenie makes some interesting sandwiches for their packed lunch, and ponders whether to head to the castle or to the lake. However, will the awful traffic force an early end to their day out? Along the way, Little Dazzy Donuts reads three poems about a day trip, traffic, and wondering if we're there yet.
Join us for this bonus episode as Queenie and Chicken provide people with a virtual tour of their garden as part of the local home and garden tours. They showcase their vegetables, irrigation system, pest control, compost, and fruit trees. While they do, Little Dazzy Donuts plays recordings of six poets reading their entries into the Summer competition on the topic of Home: Sofia, Amelia, Chloe, Azura, Poppy, and Aaniyah.
This week, Queenie and Chicken discover that a hedgehog is visiting the garden at night. They make the garden "hedgehog-friendly" before Queenie learns the difference between a hedgehog cake and a cake for a hedgehog. Along the way, Little Dazzy Donuts reads three poems on baking and cooking, as well as one from a reader on the gardener's best friend. When evening comes, all three stay up in the hope of seeing the hedgehog!
