Whoever gets there first wins, and if it’s the Rewinders, the songlines will stay scrambled forever!
The Rewinders are determined to make it back to the beginning before our heroes get to the end. But the call’s gone out through the Dreamtime, and everyone who’s helped our friends is going to do their best to hinder the bad guys.
The gang lands in the Musicland Concert Hall, where the Conductor is dealing with an unruly orchestra of some of history’s most talented musicians. With the songlines scrambled, it looks like there’s no chance to produce a real song, unless Jedda and Koa can lead the band.
The gang finds themselves in a ghost town, where they run into the Rewinders, a gang of misfits who’ve decided they like the jumbled songlines just fine! In fact, they want to stop our gang from putting everything back in its right place by traveling the wrong way along the songline.
In the Gobi desert, where she meets Altan, a huge golden eagle snatches Jedda and Koa’s instruments. They follow its flight path until they meet Altan, a girl in training to be an eagle-hunter.
The gang is separated, and only a ferocious Fennec fox can help Jedda and Koa find their missing camel friend. Luckily, he’s an excellent listener. Cheers, big ears!
The Portal spits the gang out on two sides of a sand dune, and Zinnia the camel ends up kidnapped by a bunch of baboons. She’ll need to trick them into letting her free, otherwise, she’ll be stuck pulling their rocking party barge across the desert forever!
In the Mojave Desert, our friends meet a Joshua tree who’s looking for the right chord to make the desert bloom. But all the bobcats and jackrabbits around can’t bring the flowers busting through. Maybe Jedda and Koa can help?
