At 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, people all over the world will pause for one minute to remember soldiers who gave their lives in war. It’s called Remembrance Day—and red poppies are worn to honour those brave heroes. Lest we forget!

People in Ireland freaked out when they thought they saw a lion in the woods—but it turned out to be a big, shaggy dog named Mouse with a wild haircut!

New Zealand took the win over Samoa in the NRL Pacific Championships, but the real stars were the fans and the amazing displays of culture.

Say hello to NSW’s top speller—Finn McGhee from Narellan Vale Public School! He took on thousands of kids and won the Premier’s Spelling Bee with brain-busting words like ‘subcutaneous’.
