The Old Street Lamp is a story about a street lamp that is just about to be retired. He doesnβt know what is going to happen to him next and he is worried. He has thought about all of the options and hopes that he is not melted down. The street lamp gets some gifts from the wind and a star before he is taken down for the last time.
