Full Episode description

The new adventure continues, and doggy curiosities are piqued as mysterious happenings occur on Dogland in this exciting second episode of Season 2.

If you’re new to our story, please go find episode 1, called “S1E1 | START HERE! | Power Dog Goes To College” as this is a serial story adventure that unfolds throughout each season.

We’re very happy to be introducing some new big words in this episode, which Hank and Phoebe discuss after the story. Please share your favorite big words with us, as we’d love to hear all about them!

We also bring up this really funny hypothesis about how elephants think humans are cute. It’s hotly contested, but reading about elephant cognition is fascinating! See more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephant_cognition

And, if you’d like to hear more about elephants and how amazing they are, you should check these two episodes from one of our favorite shows ever, Cool Facts About Animals! Elephants (Part 1) & Elephants (Part 2)

We’re also thrilled to continue to work some musical hits from our old buddy Grieg into our story. You’ll hear “Morning Mood” courtesy of Orange Free Sounds, and you’ll hear our composer’s take on “In the Hall of the Mountain King” as well as original music by our composer, Jason Roark.

Special thanks to Jason, our creative partner and ultimate Renaissance Bunny Supreme! He records, edits, and designs this show. He also provides original music including our opening theme song, which is sung & performed by him and the wonderful, talented Jen Bernard.

Our song that plays at the end of this episode is a song we wrote along with Hank’s Granny & Gramps, aka Murphy & Marckx. It’s called “Power Dog, He Won’t Give Up!”

Colin Laurel illustrated our cover art, which was directed by Jen Wick.

If you catch a moment, and can follow, rate, and/or review the show, we would be so grateful! It really helps get the word out for our small, indie, mom & pop & pup, family operation.
