***SYNOPSIS WITH SPOILERS***

There is a town where the children and the children before them have all existed without having ever experienced sugar or sweets. Until one year, when a mysterious woman appears in the town’s one school and introduces the local children… to candy. After eating until their tummies hurt the worried parents gather their kids and try to stop them from getting anymore of the treats but the children quickly hatch a plan to get more – by dressing up in costumes on October 31st, the anniversary of the lady’s appearance, and demanding candy from door to door.
