Bullfrogs and Lizards is about the adventures of Lucy and Larry Lizard, and Betty and Bill Bullfrog and their friends. They live in a former gold mining town in north western Victoria, Australia in the early 20th century. Their world is a simple but amazing place, full of horses, greasy piglets, carts, thieving magpies, fire and flood.

Very soon, the bike becomes a very important bit of equipment on the farm.
You might remember that Lucy received a $5 note as a reward for catching the Magpie Thief in Series 1 Episode 7? In this episode the Bullfrog family heads into the town of Stringybark to see if Lucy can find something to spend her money on.
The children at the school are told ‘an inspector’ is coming, but they then realise they don’t really know much about what inspectors actually do!
Things don’t quite go to plan on the Lizard farm on this particular day and everyone ends up a little bruised, but a little wiser.
Until Season 2 starts on the 6th of May, here’s a brief note from Dave Smith, the host of Bullfrogs and Lizards.
The children spend some time near the creek on their holidays and, inspired by beavers, they manage to create a big problem for people living downstream. Don’t try this at home.
Lucy plans on being early to school but somehow she manages to get distracted and ends up somewhere entirely different.
Roberta gets Pansy her pig set up comfortably at home. Pansy makes new friends and learns a lot in a short amount of time.
