PARENTS, TEACHERS AND HOMESCHOOLERS: This story was inspired by Aesop’s fable, “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.” The narrative illustrates how easy it is to make the wrong assumptions about someone else’s behavior, and how we can envy what others have instead of appreciating all the good things in our own lives.
