“Best idea ever!” shouted Max the raccoon, strapping on swim goggles. Lily the human gave the first running start, and WHOOSH—off she went! Everyone followed, laughing and splashing.
But then, the Slip ’n Slide grew longer. With every whoosh, it stretched farther—out of the park, across the street, through the farmers’ market (where a goat joined in), and straight into the library’s front door. Shhhhhh! hissed the librarian as kids zoomed past the stacks.
Before they knew it, the slippery track wound through the carnival, the zoo, and even looped across the town fountain. Giggling pandas, juggling clowns, and a parade float of flamingos all joined in. The Slip ’n Slide wasn’t just big—it was endless!
Finally, at the edge of town, the slide curved up, up, up… and sent everyone sailing through the air, landing safely in a giant inflatable pool shaped like a rubber duck.
The mayor arrived, dripping wet and laughing. “From now on,” she chuckled, “this will be our official Summer Splash Day!”
