Maplewood Elementary embraces the "Winter Wishes Wall" tradition where students express thoughtful desires for their community. When one student wishes for infinite hot chocolate, another reminds him of the true spirit of giving. Inspired by the wishes, the students engage in acts of kindness, such as collecting coats and making blankets for the animal shelter.
