In this magical stortime episode of Little Kids, Big Hearts, listeners travel to the Land of Qook-a-lakas for a fun, imaginative fictional story about community and belonging. The story is told by LKBH host Todd Loyd, along with two kid helpers: Rose and Leo!

High above the town, in a cozy place called Loodle Loop, lives a small Qook-a-leekie named Quincy and their grand Qook-a-laka, Quinella. While the town below gathers to bake, sing, and share ideas, Quincy begins to wonder if anyone even knows they’re there.

When Quincy creates a glowing path made of pebbles, moss, and softly chiming bells, something beautiful happens. What starts as a quiet act of creativity becomes a powerful invitation, reminding everyone that community grows when we share what makes us special.

This calming story gently supports social and emotional learning by exploring connection, courage, and the idea that everyone belongs.

Perfect for bedtime, quiet moments, and listening together as a family.
