The Tinder Box

The Tinder Box is a story about a soldier who meets a witch. The witch asks the soldier to do her a favour and then he can have as much money as he wants. The soldier agrees going down into a tree looking for the tinder box that she says her grandmother left behind. The soldier gets as much gold as he can carry and brings out the tinderbox for the witch wondering why it is so special. The witch won’t tell him why so he takes it from her and heads to the nearest town. Before long he has spent all his money and has only the tinderbox left. He picks it up and something amazing happens.
