Christmas under the Snow is a story about a family preparing for Christmas. Mr. Barnes was making his last trip to town before Christmas to pick up the last things the family needed. Mrs. Barnes sees that there is a storm coming and worries about her husband making it to town and back safely. Mrs. Barnes and the family get the house ready to make it through the storm never expecting that they would get as much snow as they do. The family makes the best of being snowed in and waits to see if Mr. Barnes can make it back safely.
