In a barren, lonely valley there lived a pine tree. He wanted more than anything to do something good to help someone. The Pine Tree spoke to anyone he could and asked if what good he was. One day, a mule came across the valley and ate some pine cones and the tree felt happy. As winter came a family arrived and camped near the tree. Would he be able to help them also?
