Ester is tired after a restless night of replaying the latest story over and over again in her head. She is not the only one who is moving slowly this morning as her brother says his eyes feel like they are full of dragon candy syrup. In the 8th part of our story Ester has a boring day at school talking about making clothes and how to be self-sufficient. When she arrives home her mother is not outside like she usually is. Ester goes in and finds her at the table drinking tea.
