Full Episode description

This week, we’re bringing you a very special Squiz Kids Spotlight. Bryce chats with the stars of the upcoming 7 AFL Kids Call, where kids take over the commentary box for Sunday’s AFL clash between St Kilda and the GWS Giants on 7plus.

Meet Alex, the play-by-play commentator who’s already handed a premiership medal to an AFL star and is chasing his dream of becoming a professional sports caller. Hear from Indie, who’ll be reporting from the boundary line right in the thick of the action. And meet Ned, whose dad just happens to be St Kilda assistant coach Brendan Bolton, giving him a unique insider’s perspective on the game.

Joining them is Channel 7 sports presenter Theo Doropoulos, who explains what it’s like calling AFL at the highest level.

It’s a fun behind-the-scenes look at footy, broadcasting, and the next generation of sports commentators before they take centre stage this Sunday.
