The Wishing Tree

In this week's Story Quest, we discover everyone can help a wish come true. Twelve-year-old Sam discovers a hidden world of hopes when he finds an ordinary-looking tree in a Hammersmith supermarket car park covered in hundreds of handwritten wishes.

After befriending a girl named Ruby whose family faces eviction, the duo decides to spread the word about the tree, sparking a massive wave of community kindness that begins bringing the wishes to life.

As the community steps up to help one another, Sam uncovers a mysterious secret about an old man in a yellow raincoat, suggesting there might be real magic behind the tree after all.
