The family trip was planned for Cairo to learn more about their roots and the history of Black people in America. Except Cairo isn’t too thrilled about going to a “boring” museum. Cairo learns to embrace history as he wrestles with the joys and hardships of being Black in America.
It’s Valentine’s Day and Cairo has made cards for all of his friends. He has an extra special valentine for Irene, his classroom crush. But there’s just one problem! Cairo forgot to write the names on the cards, and now he doesn’t know which one is Irene’s! There’s no time to correct his mistake, and he is forced to hand out the cards. Now he must figure out who got the special valentine and find a way to get it back to Irene!
Cairo’s baby sister, Jayden, has arrived! Cairo and Omari are both excited to meet the newest member of the Carter clan and step up as big brothers. Now that everyone is home, Cairo is ready for a family movie night. But Cairo is about to learn just how much time and attention a newborn baby takes up. If Cairo plans on getting what he wants, he’ll have to clean up a few dirty diapers along the way.
Cairo is excited to meet and play with his new neighbor, Amara. But when a necklace goes missing from Amara’s home, her mother makes the wrong assumption that Cairo and his friends stole it. Can Cairo help find the necklace and clear his name?

He asks Theo and Mandy for tips on how to stand out and be ‘cool’, but nothing seems to go right. But when Cairo’s big brother Omari weighs in with some advice about the power of being yourself, Cairo decides to use his new super power the next day at school.
