NASA's LANDSAT 9 was recently launched into orbit. This tracks and sends us images of every part of the earth, landscape, vegetation, migration of people, animals and birds. It also captures images of the changing scape of oceans, coral reefs and glaciers melting. The first of the LANDSAT series was launched over 50 years ago.
