Episode one logo Episode One: Introducing 'What's new today'

This is an Episodic show. You can listen to it in any order, but episode one is always a great place to start.

Full Episode description

S.Korea, alongwith the UN, has created a plan for a new floating city near Busan. If you are reminded of boats and canals near Venice, you are like million others who think the same! Ancient Venice was built when people fled enemies to live in these swamplands. Today, we are building these floating cities to flee from the risks of flooding near coastal cities and islands. 'How will these cities get electricity? Can children go to schools? Can people go to work? How are these places going to get vehicles?' Listen to this conversation with a 12-year old to find answers to these questions and more.
Question for our listeners: Are there sustainable technologies you have read about? Please share them as an audio recording and send them to us via email at hello@wsnt.in.
If you are less than 18 yrs and would like to co-host this show with Sangeetha, send us a text at hello@wsnt.in. We love listening to your feedback and comments!
