Jamming on the Job is a multi-generational, music-inspired podcast for kids ages 4-8 and their parents and caregivers, starring Christina Sanabria and Andrés Salguero, the Latin Grammy Award-winning kids’ music duo known as 123 Andrés, and Grammy-nominated musician Pierce Freelon as BoomBox. Join them as they tour the country and perform songs about the world of work. Each place they go, they meet a grownup with a different kind of job who helps them along their way. As they learn about the new and inspiring career of the day and the skills needed for that job, they compose an original song about it.
In addition to exposing kids to a wide variety of career paths, each episode will highlight foundational skills relevant to each job, such as empathy, social problem-solving, and responsibility, as well as flexible thinking, impulse control, and persistence.

Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox are on the island of Vieques and need to get back to mainland Puerto Rico in time for their show. A Marine Scientist named Linda gives them a boat ride and teaches them about task persistence along the way.
Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox discover that almost no one has gotten tickets for their free concert in Buffalo, New York. A Marketing Director named Rachel helps them spread the word, and teaches them about social problem solving.
As they prepare for a show in Durham, North Carolina, Andrés is longing for some time in nature. They find some in a beautiful indoor garden created by Makoa, the Landscape Designer, who teaches them about the value of flexible thinking.
At a fundraiser in Detroit, Michigan, Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox help Cedric the Fundraiser to meet his fundraising goal for a local kids’ after-school music program. Cedric teaches them the value of contributing to the local community.
At a tour stop at a library in Providence, Rhode Island, Christina is struggling with stage fright after making some mistakes at their last performance. A music therapist named Joni helps Christina to develop self-confidence.
As they prepare for their show in Cleveland, Ohio, Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox realize they forgot their costumes! A Costume Designer named Kai comes to their rescue and teaches them about the value of perspective-taking and empathy.
Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox head to Wind Cave National Park so Andrés can practice playing music in the dark. They are helped by Park Ranger Chaske, who teaches them about his work, Wind Cave’s history, and the importance of reflection.
Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox are excited to take you along as they travel to more new places, meet more new amigos, and write more new songs about the wonderful world of work!
Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox are playing a gig at the State Fair of Texas when a horse goes into labor! They meet a Farm Animal Veterinarian named Anaya, who teaches them about her work with animals and the importance of responsibility.
At home outside Washington, DC, Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox realize they need an online store for their merch. An Online Merchant named Ash helps them set up their site and teaches them the value of recognizing personal qualities.
At a Pittsburgh Airport, Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox grow curious about how the airport works. An Airport Operations Manager named Darius gives them a behind-the-scenes tour and teaches them the value of impulse control.
Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox hail a taxi in San Francisco, California, and are surprised to find no one behind the wheel! A Robotics Engineer named Desiree teaches them about driverless vehicles and the value of social problem solving.
At a concert stop in Rock Port, Missouri, Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox learn about wind energy from a Wind Turbine Service Technician named Regina, who also teaches them the value of task persistence.
At a dual immersion school in Los Angeles, a Language Teacher named Huang laoshi helps Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox translate some of their performance into Mandarin, and teaches them about the value of perspective-taking and empathy.
When Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox notice a plume of dark smoke in Tallahassee, Florida, a Prescribed Fire Manager named Leslie shows them there is nothing to fear. Leslie also helps them to appreciate the value of planning and focus.
When Andrés hurts his ankle in Boise, Idaho, a Nurse Practitioner named Marco helps him to feel better. Marco helps Andrés, Christina, and BoomBox to think flexibly.
