There are 470 episodes in the Sci-Fi topic.

These are the latest episodes from the Sci-Fi topic added to soundcarrot, but be careful, many of these are serialised shows so jumping in at episode 10, for example, could confuse matters.

We'd recommend starting with the first episode of your show of choice, and if you like it, listening from there.

S1 E7: Fart Cow
00:20:14 | Season: 1 | Episode: 7 | May 3rd, 2021

While Preen gets into crafting with the block building bunch, Sav has to take down a nosey intruder at the cave. The Rez is set in a distant future in which an AI called JEF orchestrates and caters for all human wants, fulfillment is gained through conspicuous consumption, and personal worth is measured by social media attention and the latest instant ‘body mods’. Our two main characters Preen (a shallow influencer grappling with a knock to his status) and Sav (a nerdy outcast who misses her Gran and struggles to communicate her feelings), stumble upon an ancient phone that has been hacked to allow communication with young people in the past (‘Pastlings’, the kids of the 2020s). Similar to experiences of social distancing during lockdown, Preen and Sav use the phone to ask the Pastlings for help and advice as they struggle to figure out what ‘kindness’ is, how it can help them fix their world, how to escape JEF’s drones, and how to recognise value in things done for their own sake as opposed to things easily counted by algorithms. In each episode they meet a new character, have a new adventure, and subtly engage with a new pro-social/kindness/resiliency message. The Rez is a production of Rezilience LTD, in partnership with Gen-Z Media and PRX. For more visit http://jointherez.com or http://gzmshows.com.

S1 E6: Tam Teaches
00:17:24 | Season: 1 | Episode: 6 | April 29th, 2021

Tam has set up a “school” in the wilds, but really, can anyone teach Preen anything? The Rez is set in a distant future in which an AI called JEF orchestrates and caters for all human wants, fulfillment is gained through conspicuous consumption, and personal worth is measured by social media attention and the latest instant ‘body mods’. Our two main characters Preen (a shallow influencer grappling with a knock to his status) and Sav (a nerdy outcast who misses her Gran and struggles to communicate her feelings), stumble upon an ancient phone that has been hacked to allow communication with young people in the past (‘Pastlings’, the kids of the 2020s). S1 E5: School’s Out
00:12:39 | Season: 1 | Episode: 5 | April 26th, 2021

Can Sav get Preen to leave the city and brave the wilds in search of an actual “school”? The Rez is set in a distant future in which an AI called JEF orchestrates and caters for all human wants, fulfillment is gained through conspicuous consumption, and personal worth is measured by social media attention and the latest instant ‘body mods’. Our two main characters Preen (a shallow influencer grappling with a knock to his status) and Sav (a nerdy outcast who misses her Gran and struggles to communicate her feelings), stumble upon an ancient phone that has been hacked to allow communication with young people in the past (‘Pastlings’, the kids of the 2020s). S1 E4: Bad Dad
00:15:02 | Season: 1 | Episode: 4 | April 22nd, 2021

Preen tries to get Sav and her Dad talking again, but is it really a good idea to get JEF’s help? The Rez is set in a distant future in which an AI called JEF orchestrates and caters for all human wants, fulfillment is gained through conspicuous consumption, and personal worth is measured by social media attention and the latest instant ‘body mods’. Our two main characters Preen (a shallow influencer grappling with a knock to his status) and Sav (a nerdy outcast who misses her Gran and struggles to communicate her feelings), stumble upon an ancient phone that has been hacked to allow communication with young people in the past (‘Pastlings’, the kids of the 2020s).
