Podcasts about: Girl Power

Oprah Winfrey read by Gayle King
00:23:16 | Season: 3 | Episode: 15 | June 15th, 2020

Once upon a time, there was a girl whose little voice grew to make a big difference. Her name was Oprah. When Oprah won a beauty pageant, a local radio invited her to the studio to realize her dream of becoming a broadcast journalist. But it wasn’t easy. Oprah did not fit into the image that media titans wanted at the time. Nevertheless, she charmed audiences with her inner strength and generosity. And as Oprah’s fame grew, she used her platform to take care of others. She built libraries, started scholarships, and founded schools. For decades, Oprah’s empathetic, authentic stories have helped others open up about their own.

DB 203: Mark Cuban, Mavericks Owner & “Shark”, On Confidence, Teamwork and Happiness
20:20 | Episode: 203 | June 8th, 2020

This week’s guest is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world and someone who many predict will one day be the President of the United States. He’s also the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and “Shark” from ABC’s hit show Shark Tank. And I’m sure by now you know that Eva’s guest is none other than Mark Cuban. Mark is undoubtedly one of the busiest people on the planet, and the fact that he took 20 minutes out of his schedule to have a one-on-one discussion with Eva is a true honor. We are also excited to share that we have started to record Eva’s interviews on video as well, so be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel and follow us on Instagram where we will be posting video clips too! Hey everyone. It’s me, Molly! Like pretty much ALL of us in Qyah, I’m staying inside, for now, at home.  At first it was hard – not going to school or seeing my friends – but actually there are SOOOO MANNNNNNY great things about being home with my family. We get to eat three meals together — every day! And I get to help cook. Even Suki pitches in! Sort of. I guess what I’m saying is that it’s really cozy spending time with just my family. I hope you feel that way, too. Nenahalyaa, everyone! See you again soon!
