There are 3430 episodes in the Talk topic.

These are the latest episodes from the Talk topic added to soundcarrot, but be careful, many of these are serialised shows so jumping in at episode 10, for example, could confuse matters.

We'd recommend starting with the first episode of your show of choice, and if you like it, listening from there.

Episode 2: What’s the Opposite of a Kettle?
24:30 | Season: 1 | Episode: 2 | October 5th, 2018

For the first time in human history, the tremendously clever grown-ups Andy Stanton (a bearded man behind the beloved Mr Gum books) and Carrie Quinlan (an unbearded woman who comes out of your radio) will be sharing the vast knowledge they’ve gained during their lifetimes with some children who, frankly, know nothing. Honestly, joking apart, these kids are almost shamefully ignorant. I blame the parents.

DB 098: Zig Ziglar’s Timeless Quote: You Don’t Have To Be Great To Start, But You Have To Start To Be Great
07:30 | Episode: 98 | August 13th, 2018

In this week’s episode, Eva answers a question from a Big Dreamer who is interested in starting her own podcast. Jenny from Long Island has been waiting for 2 years to launch her podcast because she is trying to get everything perfect before she publishes her 1st episode. Eva shares a great Zig Ziglar quote — “You Don’t Have To Be Great To Start, But You Have To Start To Be Great” — and encourages Jenny to get started now. There is a great lesson for all Big Dreamers, young and old, who are pressing the snooze button on their dreams. There is never going to be a perfect time to start, and you always learn so much about yourself during the process. For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/98

DB 097: Worst Case Scenario Thinking: A “Backwards” Strategy To Get You Out Of Your Comfort Zone
11:12 | Episode: 97 | August 6th, 2018

We are big proponents of having a positive attitude here at the Dream Big Podcast. So I think that most of our Big Dreamers will be surprised that this week’s episode is about engaging in Worst Case Scenario thinking. This “backwards” strategy is very powerful, and will be a good lesson for kids and adults that the “worse case scenario” is often not that terrible after all. And when you compare the “worse case scenario” with the benefits that you’ll experience if the outcome turns out positive, this strategy will help you break out of your comfort zone and grow. A sad tale about Matt Beard’s pet fish, Bucket and Spade
25:37 | June 26th, 2018

Matt was so excited when he bought two pet fish and named them Bucket and Spade. It wasn’t long though before one of those fish got sick. Very sick. The pet shop said he needed special chemicals for the water, so he spent a lot of money to make things better. Sadly, things didn’t improve for Bucket. Or was it Spade? Anyway, did Matt do the right thing for his fish? And is a fish’s life as important as other types of pets?

Who should decide when you can get your ears pierced?
21:54 | June 26th, 2018

Some kids really want to get their ears pierced but their parents won’t let them. So, who should get to decide when and how you’re allowed to decorate your body with a piercing or even a tattoo? We get out the piercing gun and the tattoo ink and find out how much control we should have over our own bodies.
